Updating previous reports, ESPN.com reports the New England Patriots are discussing the possibility of trading up to the No. 2 spot in the NFL Draft, taking the spot of the Detroit Lions. The Patriots originally offered both of their first-round selections (Nos. 14 and 19) plus a second rounder this year in exchange for the JetsÃƒÂ¢Ã¢Â‚Â¬Ã¢Â„Â¢ No. 2 pick, according to sources. However, the Lions have apparently countered, asking for both of New EnglandÃƒÂ¢Ã¢Â‚Â¬Ã¢Â„Â¢s first-round picks, their second-round pick and a third-round pick, all in this yearÃƒÂ¢Ã¢Â‚Â¬Ã¢Â„Â¢s draft.

Mike Ditka is alive and well in New England. Boy if they do this. Bozo the Clown must be running their draft.
