Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the New Orleans Saints have signed free agent LB Anthony Simmons (Seahawks) a one-year, $1.5 million contract. Simmons did not play in 2005 as he was recovering from a broken wrist.

Man... a healthy Simmons is a badass middle linebacker. A very nice low risk high reward signing. He's going to want to prove he's back and healthy so he can earn another big contract next season. Things keep on getting better... I'm lovin' it. We deserve it dammit.
