It depends....if it's for one year I say it's a great move. He's proven that he's a great asset for one year....after that is when it goes bad. Also I think he knows this is his last chance.

... he only played what 9 games in 2004? The Eagles didn't really need him as much as he needed the Eagles to inflate his ego. That the media, hungry for a circus, kept on pumping Owens' image as "arguably the best receiver in the NFL" when he really wasn't the best receiver in his division, contributed to this image of Owens being better than he really is.


At this point, I doubt that Owens would be good for even 1 year... after all of what he did and what he said and how he behaved, that Jones is going to show him the money will only feed his huge ego even more...

i would love to see roy williams clean his clock the first practice and see if that knocks some sense into him.

Owens can never become anything but a wanna be great legend. Crying and whining about feeding his children on 7 million a year, what a p@##y. This guy will only be remembered for what he could have been if he kept his mouth shut and played for 10 to 15 years like the Riceman.

I hate that the most reporters put "he helped them get to the SB", yet was injured and didn't play the entire post-season (the real reason the Eagles drafted him). He didn't play in the Championship game and in NO WAY helped them 'GET' to the SB. The Eagles made it to the Championship game three prior years without TO so I'm baffled why reporters love to use that line.

T.O. has hardwork ethic of an American worker.....i love Horn and Stallworth yet one of the two can't get it done.......but Horn is my fav of all time.

No....he was before my time....i didn't watch the Saints until my first year in High school in '99 when I played ball for Friendly high School.

Well the fans cheered when he went down, to this day I can't understand why some one would do that.
