HELP with Brees ad in the Times Picayune

Hey guys, I've been hearing on the nola.com forums about an ad in the Times Picayune recently taken out by Drew Brees. Has anyone seen it (I'm in Shreveport so I cant) and can they copy and paste it or send a link or just tell me the general gist of it?

Thanks!

The gist is that he is really thankful that Benson's check cleared.

Can anyone say fan favorite? I really like that he's already reaching out to the community. I'm very impressed.

Thanks BrooksMust Go! OK, I figured it would be something like that because the people on the nola.com forums were saying he was a class act. Well, they were right. That means a lot and I am very impressed as I doubt any other Saints QB or player for that matter has reached out so quickly as Drew has. I am really looking forward to seeing him under center in a few months and I only wish him the best. It's about time we had a QB who is willing to take control of the situation like he has already. He's already the leader of the team and he just got here! IMPRESSIVE! August and preseason can't come fast enough and I hope his shoulder heals 200%.

That is pretty classy. It shows he WANTS to be the face of the organization and wants fans to know they weren't second even if the mass media wants it to seem that way. I like that he's embracing his new city and looks forward to winning. NICE.

Yeah...even though I like my women about 20 shades darker and I'm white...she is pretty hot...lol

FanNJ 03-21-2006 08:52 AM

True that. I like alittle latin flare but hey

fhs623 03-21-2006 08:57 AM

I'm not gonna get too attach to Brees. Yeah, it was a nice PR move, but he needs to win games for the Saints before I give him praise.

TIGERSAINT31 03-21-2006 09:59 AM

Thats good to see! Good job Drew

FatiusJeebs 03-21-2006 12:49 PM

You like latin flare eh? You should get your arses down here to Miami. We have a surplus on that stuff. ;0) As for Brees, I gotta give it to him. I don't think I have ever seen a player do this. I really hope things work for him.

foreverfan 03-21-2006 12:56 PM

I like my women whiter than the sheets... never mind.

FatiusJeebs 03-21-2006 01:02 PM

Better to live with the disease than to try to get rid of it...That option is not cost effective

Why is divorce so expensive? Because it's worth it.
