The LA Chiefs?

Maybe Tags knew something we didn't:

the stadium situation
Others eye KC’s prizes
Cities would line up to woo Chiefs, RoyalsBy RANDY COVITZ

The Kansas City StarImagine the Portland Royals. Or the Charlotte Royals. What about the Los Angeles Chiefs? Or Anaheim Chiefs?

Those are among the cities that have their eyes on Kansas City’s major-league teams if Jackson County voters do not approve an April 4 sales-tax measure that would help fund renovations at the Truman Sports Complex.

Without the improvements at Arrowhead and Kauffman stadiums, the county is expected to default on the leases in 2007, freeing the Royals and Chiefs to leave town.

RE: The LA Chiefs?

From a selfish standpoint, if the Chiefs were moved to LA that's one less place the Saints could get moved to, and I'd be ok with that. I just don't see it happening though. KC is a great football town, I see them getting a deal for the stadium.

As long as they don't screw around with the Saints everything will be ok, at the sametime I would hate for the Chiefs to lose their team being I see how they support their team every season.

RE: The LA Chiefs?

LA screwed up a decade ago when both the Raiders and the Rams bolted. And that had to do with the stadium issue. Plus they lost to Houston in the last expansion bid.

 LOOKS LIKE PACMAN STILL HAS A JOB!!!
