Cowboys might hold on to Davis
By CLARENCE E. HILL JR. The Cowboys might not be ready to let safety/special-teams star Keith Davis go to the Saints.IRVING -- Don't say goodbye to Keith Davis just yet. According to several sources, the Cowboys are leaning toward matching the two-year restricted free-agent offer sheet Davis signed with the New Orleans Saints. The two-year deal calls for Davis to make roughly $2.1 million in the 2006 season, including a $1.2 million roster bonus. http://www.dfw.com/mld/dfw/sports/football/14332984.htm |
No big deal, we are in good shape at safety. I think they was overpaying for him in the first place.

I'd like to see the other Bullocks brother in the Black and Gold. They were a good tandem at Colorado.

Check that ment Nebrasks no coffe yet

Yeah I would be psyched about having both Bullocks as well...i think they are trying to turn one into a CB...Speaking of which Kiper had us taking a DB in his last Draft....It is in another Topic
|
Yeah I think a Bullocks-Bullocks tandem would be pretty nasty, but he's supposed to be going in the mid- to late-second. I really hope we get Davis. Not only is he a pretty good, hard-hitting SS, but he also is an animal on special teams.
