New Orleans No. 2 pick Saints listening to offers
<Apr. 24> The Saints, who are expected to draft DE Mario Williams with the second pick if they stand pat, have fielded their first couple of calls for trades, according to ESPN.com's John Clayton. The Saints haven't made calls yet to shop the pick. The teams that have called haven't offered anything exciting, but it's early in the week.

Back to topic. Who do you think is making these calls? I wonder what the first offers are.
And one more thing--It seems like the only two guys people are going up for are Reggie Bush or Mario Williams. I suppose maybe the Raiders might want to go up and get noodle arm or Vince Young. But really it seems like people are excited about the prospect of Reggie "so I got a house" Bush or Super Mario.

It must be either the Jets or 49ers. I know a lot of other teams are in bad shape, but those two are in the worst. they both need offensive linemen, a running back, a ;pass-rushing end, and a quarterback in the Jets case. They are also the only teams with two first round picks.

I heard on sirius that the 49ers are the team looking to move up. They didn't say who they were interested in, but that would put us behind Green Bay who've had their eyes on A.J. Hawk since day one. That would really piss me off, unless San Francisco came up with one hell of a deal for us.
