Mario Williams at Defensive Tackle????????
I heard that he is almost 300 pounds and that he can gain more, and still keep his abilities. If that is true, then if the Saints draft him, he and Sullivan can play tackle and Grant and Smith can play end. That could very well be the best defensive line in the league. I am not saying it will happen, but it is a possibillity.

Maybe they already thought about that. Everyone thought LeRoy Glover was undersized, but he performed. And Williams is way bigger than him.

RE: Mario Williams at Defensive Tackle????????
Mario Williams best asset is his pursuit of the edge. You just can't say that he'd be good at a position because he's a certain size. THat's like saying LenDale White would be a good LB because he's big and fast. Certain skillsets match with only certain positions. Mario is a good pass rusher off the edge, but he struggles when he has to go right at OLinemen. Besides, if we want a DT, why don't we draft Hawk/Brick in the first, and then take a true DT in the second or fourth?

RE: Mario Williams at Defensive Tackle????????
good job deuce... many people think that switching positions in the NFL is as easy as switching positions in college... putting on more weight doesn't necessarily equate to being just as dominate at DT as he was at DE... personally, while i think he will be great at the next level, he's going to show that he is a rookie... he'll be matched up every week against linemen that are more agile, stronger, and slide their feet in pass protection better than anything he's seen so far... does anyone know if he went against ferguson this past year and if so what did he do that game? that's probably the best player he's faced since walking on campus
