#4 and Vilma for Bush? Would you?

Would you? I would.... At #4, D'Brick or Hawk...

JimBone 04-29-2006 12:10 AM

Not that it would ever happen...but no way. I would need more than that to move down.

RE: #4 and Vilma for Bush?

yeah but they wouldn't get rid of Vilma for Bush. Not when they can keep Vilma and still get a darn good player at the #4 spot.

But it would be a darn good deal for the Saints. Id do it.

Then they're on the clock @ 11:20 MST :)

As per NFL.com, the draft starts @ noon (12:00 PM EST)
Figure out 5 minute speech, 1-2 minutes to announce the Texans deal, then they are on..

That trade would be wonderful. We could firm up our linebacker corps and snag Fergeson(Crossing my fingers). Put that's all speculation.

No way I'd take this deal.

I don't get the fascination with Vilma, he can't shed a block to save his life. Hawk will be a better player by week three.

I'd much rather go with the trade proposal the Saints seem to be asking for.

Jets | Saints asking price high for No. 2
Fri, 28 Apr 2006 23:35:35 -0700

Dave Hutchinson, of the Star-Ledger, reports the New York Jets are trying to trade up with the New Orleans Saints to the No. 2 spot in the NFL Draft, but the Saints asking price is high. The Saints are asking the Jets for one of two packages, according to an agent who represents one of the draft's top players: The Jets' pick at No. 4, plus their first-round selection at No. 29 and their first-round pick next season or the Jets' pick at No. 4, plus their first-round selection at No. 29, their second-round pick at No. 35 and their second-round pick next season.
If Reggie Bush really is a once in a generation player, then either of these deals is totally reasonable. They can have Vilma.

why Vilma, when it is said that A.J. has HOF potential and can be a game changer on D. Vilma is a solid LB, but he can't carry the D on his shoulders.
