You know, it wouldn't hurt to have both of these guys in the backfield at the same time. They complement each other. Deuce is a good blocker and a great power back. Bush is a shifty back who can turn the corner with ease. He also has great hands.

How would you like to gameplan against a Bush and McAllister formation?

No I don't think its a good idea to have both of them in the same backfield at the same time. Splitting time sure, Deuce needs a blocking FB we been down that road once and hopefully we learned something from that. Getting Deuce on 1 and 2nd downs and early in the game will wear down the D and then you pop bush in...

I dunno. They can both create mismatches. But better than that, the D wouldn't know which defense to call... Deuce in the backfield, Bush in the slot. Which play is it gonna be? Run? Pass? Between the tackles? Off-tackle? Quick out? Slant? Post to Stallworth? It'd be awfully damn hard to figure out which defense to put on the field. Brees might be good enough to take advantage of that.

Well a good way to look at it is, the Trojans were awesome last year when they had a big bruiser in LenDale White (who also has speed like Deuce), and then were able to put in Reggie and let him take over. Yes, I think it will be a good thing. ANd I do think that Reggie will be able to play some kind of slot receiver. Overall I think it's going to put us in a financial bind eventually with so much money wrapped up in only one position, but I think by that time, one of them is going to be gone (cough cough Deuce cough cough).

Bush was the obvious pick glad we got him. If our backfield is dominating and we are winning games like Pittsburg then there is no problem with all that cash tied up. Running sets up passing so this was a great pick.

Some one on this board got his boy Faine as predicted, without much of a loss and then there is a safety??
