With Walker Gone....Is Stallworth safe?

What you guys think i think he is and im glad because farve makes alot of decent recievers look real good......stallworth i feel is a probowler waitin to happen........last yr stallworth was the only weapon now look.........we can finally say GIVE THE BALL BACK TO THE OFFENSE

I think we are keeping Donte. If we were going to get rid of him, it would have likely been today IMO. I don't know if it was no takers, or we just decided tonot trade him, but I am happy.

Stallworth's talent has been frustrating ('specially when he drops a ball), but I think last year went a long way towards making him the reciever he should be....dude almost had 1000 yds with AB throwing it behind a real bad line and a lack of running game.

I have partial to Donte his whole career, and while i give him the benefit of the doubt, he just hasnt developed like he should. But lets hope that with a new QB and a new system, he will be able to find some more creases and maybe break some long ones like the good ole days.

I don't think Donte was ever "really" on the block. I think they just sent out feelers to send him a message. I think Donte comes back and has a career year!

He'll have more of a chance to prove himself now because there so many skill players on our roster now. I can only imagine the migraines D coorinators will get trying to call in personnel. It should be awfully tough to predict what's coming.

Donte will be our best WR next year just wait and see even with a healthy Joe Horn

donte finally started to get the idea last year. no reason to let him go just as he gets it. plus he will soon understand what payton will not except. i think that unlike when haz said it every position really is up for grabs. if you do not give it your all you are in big trouble. i think payton has already begun to show that. might be why he wasn't to thrilled with what we had. probably had guys use to the haz idea. doesn't fly anymore. i never like when i herar a coach is a players coach. usually means they are soft. they usually win in spurts kinda like has. remember that guy in detroit that every year when his job got threatened then thye would come out and win a couple of games to try to make the playoffs. he was a players coach. give me a players *****. seems to work better

I think there is something about Stallworth that the current regime doesn't like. He didn't even work out at the minicamp, so it must be an attitude thing. Or maybe they've seen his game tape. Maybe it's just a case that Stallworth isn't the kind of reciever that Payton wants in his system. In any event, the mere fact that Stallworth s on the trading block means his days are numbered here. We definitely now have the offensive personnel to compensate for his departure.
