Sometimes NFL execs do make the right call.

Hard to believe.

no doubt ltf. i mean i would just let someone else worry about him. if he becomes good then our lost. i will take our chances and even being wrong on this one is ok with me

I think no GM wanted to be ridiculed for taking him in the draft due to his character issues. I am sure there are a couple of teams that WANTEDX to take him with one of their compensatory picks or something like that. It's a principle thing.

One of the problems that I noticed with him is he has a big head. At least that is the way he comes across to me during his interviews. I would not want him on my team at this time. Dude thought he could live on the success of his brother and do whatever he wants. Hopefully, he is learning a tough lesson. Now is the time for him to get his act together. He is still very young and will get a chance if he can get his act together. I will admit, it does not look good for this kid...

Ha he'll get a chance, no doubt about it. He doesn't have the talent of his brother, but if he had no character issues, he would have been at least a second round pick, or maybe a late first. GMs would have been willing to dismiss his disappointing play as him being young and raw and would have drafted him on "upside".

If he doesn't become a FA pickup for some team this season you will see him NFLE in the spring, or perhaps in Arena football.

Best line of draft weekend was Jaworski calling Vick "delusional" about the skills he has.
