NFL | Schwarzenegger discusses Los Angeles market with NFL owners
Mon, 1 May 2006 21:44:11 -0700 Andy Furillo, of the Sacramento Bee, reports California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger flew to Dallas Monday, May 1, to attend the NFL owners' meeting Tuesday, May 2. He intends to speak in favor of locating a franchise, possibly two, in the Los Angeles market. He is expected to address the owners for a few minutes at a meeting and then immediately return to California afterward. Gubernatorial spokesman Darrell Ng said Schwarzenegger has no preference between the Anaheim and Los Angeles efforts to acquire a team. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, City council member Bernard Parks and several members of the Coliseum Commission are expected to attend the meeting. http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nfl |
RE: the saints terminated by arnold schwarzenegger?
2 teams in LA might save the Saints. I honestly don't think the NFL would relocate 2 teams at the same time. If they would be added in LA you would see two more coming into the leauge bringing the total to 36.
The new division would then be: Anaheim Angels Los Angeles Sharks Chicago Butchers Las Vegas Gamblers |

If they add 4 more teams wouldn't 2 be AFC and 2 NFC???
