Jumping on the Bandwagon, NOT !!!!
 

I already have seen people in general who said the Saints would never amount to jack and not worth watch to now saying they'll watch them and can we catch a game?, I said hell no, I'm going with a fan like myself who has followed this team even in the worst days..
A few weeks ago Benson said on WWL that there was going to be big things that will happen to the team and that Saints fan would be happy with the decisions, man he wasn't lying.

Just with the addition of Bush, we have gained alot of fans. Its the guys who watched the saints all these years though all the bad seasons that stayed positive every off-season, that when we become Contenders, it will be the most rewarding.

I remember years ago there was this chick I wanted to date, she put me off for 3 years and one day out of nowhere she asked me out, can't tell you how sweet it was, really I can't, not here anyway (smile)

Bandwagon? Not here.....every grueling year since the beginning of the Sunday Ticket offers I have sat and watched and cheered my Saints. You know what I say...let them jump on. It would be nice to walk into a store here in Miami and see actual Saints merchandise for sale. I am sick of nothing but Dolphins(which is obvious) and a bunch of Vick replicas and a few other teams but NEVER EVER THE SAINTS!!
No hats...jerseys...not even friggin shot glasses....NOTHING! Let them hop on the wagon...if there is one thing I would love to see is actual representation of our team in the malls and sporting good stores.

My friends ask me how do I do it. I tell them patience...cause the day it happens...I may actually cry. And that never happens.

The bandwagoners are more than welcome. The money is still green. I also like the idea that high schools across America will be full of kids wearing Bush's number in black and gold instead of the 90 different variant Vick jerseys floating around.

The bandwagoners may not last long, but they can at least be walking billboards for us.

I agree. Support is support. We should encourage those wanting to support the Saints.

try being in my area where 95% of the people are steelers fans.....there for a while i could find a common bond with the people that admitted they were bengals fans, but now they laugh at me too. to hell with them though, if and when we do win it all, itll mean more to me than they can imagine.

I feel you man. Every wear around here I have to put up with Steelers and Falcons. I just can't wait to rub it back when we become an elite team. And Jeebs, I couldn't have said it better myself.

I live in Iowa. I get ragged on every year for being a Saints fan by Vikings, Packers, Bears and even Steelers fans (where there is a contingent everywhere). I know this year I'll see at least another Bush jersey in the bar. I will smile, I may even go and talk to the guy/girl. I'll also smile, knowing he or she doesnt own a Deuce jersey or a Brooks jersey (yes unfortunately) or a Horn, Ricky Williams, Stallworth, or Turley jersey. I already called the local sporting goods store and they said they are definently going to be carrying Reggie Bush jerseys. Small victory for me, I save on shipping :)

I never looked at it that way, better chance of the Dome being sold out ,and who knows some may become LongTimeFans of the Saints

Hell I'm from Dallas. When I go home I have to put up with all of the crap about "America's Team." Please. I do take a lot of heat for my love of the Black and Gold, but that doesn't stop me. My dad made a promise to me that no matter how old he is, when the Saints get to the Super Bowl, me and him are going. I can't wait for that day. I'll probably shed a few tears of joy on that day.

LSU fan - Ended when Saban was hired.

Saints fan - Looking like we're heading back to respectability.

Cubs fan - Wood and Prior, what the hell is wrong with your arms?

well got one off my back last year and put one in the grave.

Saints, Mets, Heat, Devils. Only the Devils have provided me with any Championship success. The Heat seem to choke...and its been 20 yrs since the Mets did it. Oddly enough though......this year could be pretty good for me. Knocking on wood!

Try pulling for the Orioles...havent been competitive since Cal Ripken left and they have to deal with the Sawx and the Yankees...but i will always have my Saints #1.

Try being a U.L Rajun Cajun fan (Lafayette, LA,), you would enjoy mowing your lawn before watch any of their programs, glad I'm a Tiger fan instead.

I live in the Washington D.C. area and am surrounded by NOTHING but Redskins fans. The Dallas/Washington is like the friggin Super Bowl around here. I have proudly been a Saints fan since I was three years old(1988), when my dad showed me a Saints game and I liked their colors better than the Raiders. Through thick and thin I have suffered and cheered through almost every New Orleans game since then. When we finally won our first playoff game I must say I almost crapped in my pants. Hopefully Payton will make me repeat these actions that happened six years ago. WE WILL SEE THE PLAYOFFS THIS YEAR!!!

Saintsfan!!!! LOLOL...I thought I was the only one who started liking the Saints because of their colors. I'm glad I am not alone...lol I remember it was Christmas 1989 I was 14. I happened to be in NY at the time and for some reason I got to see 2 Saints games the 2 weekends I was there. I said these guys have killer uniforms. Slowly after...I started learning names....schemes....and eventually....the long hard history...I couldn't help it....I'm a sucker for the underdog and thus...I fell in love with the Saints! 17 grueling years later.......haven't lost an ounce of love for them. GO SAINTS!!!!

All of us who have suffered over the years -- who watched us waste round one picks on the likes of Russell Erxleben -- went to a saints game at Tulane Stadium -- should be happy our wagon is getting full. Let em come -- they give us a better chance to keep the Saints in New Orleans -- But deep down inside -- we can rejoice that we were fans all along -- and know that we will be fans long after the wagon empties. My mother was the biggest saints fan that I have ever met. Long before the multi million dollar contracts and the crybaby contract fighters. Sunday afternoons she would sit in front of the tv and cheer the boys on with a passion that I dont think I will ever fully understand. Growing up in the eighties and early ninties when football changed my friends became Cowboys, Fortyniners, Broncos, and Bills fans. Somehow I have always known better than to take part in celebration and sucess that I was never apart of prior to it. Every year we see the the caps and jerseys from the winning franchises. I rarely see some one here locally wearing a Saints cap or jersey. How do we distinguish our selves, the old from the new? We cannot do it until we reach the final game. And at the end of that game it will be clear. There will be laughing and cheering smiles on their faces while those of us who went through hell and back for this franchise will pause with tears of joy and reflect on hardship, disapointment, and, the relentless desire for this team to win. My mother never saw the Saints win a PO game nor will she see them win a Super Bowl but I will continue with her love of the underdog and I will pass it on to my children along with the lesson of loyalty and dedication.

I became a Saints fan because of Donte' Stallworth, and ever since than I have justed learned more about the team and all.

There's a fanbase like ours in New England. I was working on Bourbon when they came in '01. Their fans reminded me of Saints fans in that they were just so hungry to see their team win it all, especially in the city where they had lost 2 SB's. I met a few of the players, McGinest, Milloy, Seymour, and Troy Brown. Really polite, good guys. Rams fans were/are extremely arrogant, and their players follow suit. A state trooper I know worked details for both teams. He said the Pats players all thanked the troopers, while the Rams were a**holes.

After they had won, the fans partied like I expect us to ONE DAY party.
