THE Wishbone Dream...Brees at QB, Karney behind him with Bush and McAllister to his left and right....I know they will never run it but man what a backfield...The old school in me would die to see that happen especially on Turkey Day Weekend game...A T formation would be just as good

The power I with no true Fullback, I would love to see that. You would have Mcallister as the Faux fullback, Bennett dotting the I and Bush as the wingback. Now thats old school football that would work at the right time and you can't tell me that it wouldn't trip out the defense.

Coach Bill Peterson tried the 'bone as his base offense with the Houston Oilers years ago. Man, was it ugly.

But, yes, it'd be cool to run it a coupla times a game just for a hoot.

You guys are high... Yeah lest put everyone in the backfield so they can put all there players in the box. We are going to have to spread out and give them something to defend in the passing game so they don't crowd the line.

Let them pack the box...Brees takes a five step drop and throws a wheel route to Henderson or Stallworth and provided they hold onto the ball they burn up the sideline....

Or Faine could direct snap it to Karney who runs up the gut, Karney tosses back to Brees who hands off to Deuce who pitches the reverse to Bush.

Offense in a wishbone. Defense with 7 safety's on the field to defend it.

That would be sweet, funny to say the least to watch. And LSUJeremy, that would be just.... weird. Are we gonna do anything abuot them? I would love to watch the wishbone to come back, maybe even single wing, that would be pretty crazy. But than we would have spent all that on Brees and not use him that much.

You totally missed that. I hear that our base defense will be the 2-2-7 this season. We aren't tackling anyone until they reach the secondary anyway...
