21:26 PT: The Houston Chronicle reports Houston Texans GM Charley Casserly said the team would make an offer to free agent LB Keith Mitchell (Saints), who visited Wednesday. They reportedly face competition from Atlanta, Kansas City, Philadelphia and Detroit. "I have a couple of other visits lined up, but hopefully I won't have to take them," said Mitchell, who resides in Dallas during the off-season. Casserly called Wednesday's visit "exploratory on both sides," and said the club was prepared to make a contract offer. The team is about $6.5 million under the cap, but they need almost off of that to sign their draft picks.
