The word on the street is there is a 3 team deal in the works, including broncos and saints that will bring Ashley Lelee to NO. I dont have a link, it was posted on onther site and several folks heard bit on the radio discussing it. I think Stallworth might be heading to mile high....


Lelee is just like stallworth, waiting for him to break out and waiting.... and waiting... and waiting....

Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports the Denver Broncos could be getting closer to trading disgruntled WR Ashley Lelie. A trade could be wrapped up within the next week that would be a three-team deal and land Denver a tight end. A number of teams have shown renewed interest this week, according to one person close to the talks, and Lelie is desperate to get out of Denver, where he feels he cannot be the No. 1 wide receiver. The team that trades for Lelie is going to want to try to sign him to an extension, as his contract is scheduled to expire after this season.

So if it is a TE they are looking for maybe it is Ernie. He would do much better in a finesse offense the broncos run

Ohh good, you found something, I couldnt find anything!! I hope its conwell.... I really really want to see how donte is going to do in the new system, but I think it may be to late, you think hes the WR that will be part of the deal?

As far as Ashley is concerned, I ve picked him up on my fantasy team for 2 years now, and man has he been a let down. I really thought he would break out last year but it didnt happen.

He doesn't have a lot of drops, cause they don't throw his way much. If people think Stallworth is inconsistent, you are about to see the living meaning of the word if we trade for this guy. Well, we did have a previous example in AB, this is his equivalent at WR.

I dont know about the AB comparison, I think hes bad, but AB single handedly lost games for us, I dont see Ashley L doing that !!

Never know we may not be getting Lelee. We maybe the third team getting that unkown player. A CB? RT? never know.

That's cause Ahley Lelie is a receiver, which is a dependant position. He depends on someone else to get him the ball. AB was in a dominant position. But for his position, Lelie is just as inconsistent.

How could it be an equivalent? Its just like you said one is in a dominant position the other is not, so its not a good comparison, Im sorry ....YOOUR FIRED!!

The dominant/dependant ratio was only relevant to your point about Lelie not being able to lose us games as AB did. Don't get it twisted, and don't look for arguments where there are none.

So what? That's the difference between a dominant and dependant position on a team. Doesn't make one player any less INCONSISTENT. Key word. Single handledly losing games does not speak to their overall INCONSISTENCY. There's that word again. Stay focused on it. AB is an inconsistent QB, to say the least. Prob one of the most inconsistent in the league. Lelie is an inconsistent receiver, follow me now, prob one of the most inconsistent in the league. Just because they don't play the same position, doesn't mean their inconsistency can't be equivalent. If this were the case, we'd have a league MVP for QB, a league MVP for RB, a league MVP for WR, and so on and so forth. But guess what, we don't. Don't let the fact they play different positions falsely lead you to believe they can't be compared. I'll say it again, Lelie is just as inconsistent a WR, as AB was a QB. AB just had more control of games in his hands, cause he was a QB, that's the difference. I don't even see what you are arguing anyway. Are you arguing Lelie is not inconsistent, or that he is not as inconsistent as AB cause he did not single-handedly lose any games? That's weak. Tell me any WRs who have single-handledly won any games. They don't, cause they ALL rely on QBs to get them the ball. Every WR in the history of the NFL.

Well where does the third team come in? If we are give the Broncos a TE and they give us Lelie, whats the point in th ethird team? To moderate? To give opinion? We dont know what the trade's details are.
