Sorry no link I heard it on sirius nfl radio. Denver is looking for a TE for WR Ashley Lelie and the rumor is a three way trade between the Saints, Broncos, and Bills. We traded Watson to the bills for the TE , and we will send him to Denver for Lelie. Do not know if its true, but it would make for a good battle at camp for the starting wr spot

If this happens, we will have one hell of a receiving corp. Then we better dangle one of the WR we dont need for a corner back.

Don't you think they will want more than Euhus? Or a different TE? What could we put in there?

if we can pull off that swap id be really surprised. i dont see the trade happening straight up, but im all for it if it happens.

Lelie is NOT good and NOT motivated to be good.

Adam Shefter also said something on total access about lelie being involved in a three way trade. Lelie is looking for a new contract to, that may be a problem. If it does happen I think its the end for Donte, and I would hate to see him go

I'm with D. Payton's wasting time trading for surplus WR's and S's. Get some tackles, a corner and maybe a few more O-Linemen.

i dont see how lelie would be an improvement over stallworth.

money wouldnt be an issue because both are going to have to get new contracts next year (as stated before) and stallworth has shown better play with not as good of a qb throwing to him

But you are getting a WR that probly wont stay. So what. Donte may not stay if we keep him after the year.
Denver will at least get some thing and they are not stupid enough to pull a Bentley move like us. I am not infavor of the swap if we just swap WR in the deal. there is no real upgrade in it for us.

I like the fact that the Saints are staying busy in the slow time of season. It is making things interesting when normally i would be forced to watch something else...but sooner or later, assuming these trade rumors come to fruitition, we are going to have to start getting some players in here at positions that are needs...we need an OT...we need a CB...and we need a DT.
No more WR's, RB's, S's, TE's...lets go on ahead and start filling needs since we didnt exactly do it in the draft.
