Joe says what is on his mind. You have to wait sometimes for days to get the whole story about what he ment. this time I thought he did well.

I see this thread will get nowhere fast.

Why all this hostility in this thread? I don't know why wheelman made his comment, it certainly seemed out of place. But let's not lose our heads. Joe said exactly everything I would have wanted him to say in this article, but some people dislike people no matter what they say or do, that's fine. Let's not take it out on each other. Going by past history, I don't think wheelman actually reads all of what's posted most times. It's all good.

newmex i probably should have put that a different way. i didn't mean to call you an idiot, my point was don't get caught up in that type of argument. your reaction to me doesn't bother me so it is all good. no worries here. keep posting it is good to have you on board

Sorry for not elaborating on my comment last night, but I had business to take care of.

I used to love Joe as a player, and he was once my favorite Saint. Sure he ran his mouth, but he always backed it up on the field. Then came his comments about the "San Antonio ordeal" last year, and I'm still chaffed about it. He practically said that Saints fans had no right to demand that the team return to New Orleans. It may be irrational, but I haven't liked him ever since.

Before last season, 4 years straight Horn has averaged 70 receptions, 1100 yards rec., and 10 td's. Over that span, that is second only to Marvin Harrison. No offense bro, but Joe is the MFin man and has put his money where his mouth is. "Mr. Third Down" is what my friends call him. He's clutch. Injuries slowed him last year and yes, his performance was down, but I'm not jumpin off his wagon for 1 bad year. He brought, and still brings tenacity and leadership to this team. I love watching him get crushed going over the middle and bounce back right back up, do his dance, and go back to the huddle. He is, if not the toughest, one of the toughest SOBs on the team and in the league. Let the man talk his **** and do his TD dance.

hey ...like him or not(and i do) Joe is a VITAL part of any success the team will have and why so much hostility towards him?
