The Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins are considering taking Virginia linebacker Ahmad Brooks in the July 13 supplemental draft. During his freshman season, Brooks set a record with 117 tackles, 10 of them for loss with 4 sacks and 6 pass breakups. He can play inside or out and could be used as a 3rd down pass rusher on the line. He has even lined up as a kick returner and averaged 27.5 yards on 2 returns in 2004.
