i have always had the PS2 version in the past and not able to download the rosters...i guess i need to get the equipment to do that.

You have been unable to, cause you had not purchased said equipment. It's like $40. Get with it. lol Although, with PS3 coming out before Xmas, it may not be worth it if you are getting one of those.

I'm getting a PS3 to go with my 360. PS3 has blu-ray. Those players are like $1000 right now I think. Plus exclusive games on each sytem. It'll be worth it.

You are probably right. They are having issues already. I haven't heard anything about them changing the launch dateyet though.

What do you have to do, and what, if anything, extra do you need to download the rosters for XBox for Madden and NCAA?

On Xbox, all you need is an Xbox live account, and to hook your Xbox up to the net. I don't think you can download rosters for NCAA though. You have to buy a memory card that has the rosters on them from someone.

Oh man! :shock: Bill Gates has said repeatedly that Halo 3 will be released when the PS3 comes out. I hope that if the PS3 is delayed, Microsoft will still release Halo 3 on time. Now that I think of it, The Halo 3 release date is in "2007" so it sounds like Microsoft was aware of this. Next Christmas is Christmas 2007. Man, if they make us wait another whole year I'm gonna get some serious red ass.

The PS3 is being pushed back from what I have heard, but I don't think it will be another year.

I have a Xbox 360 but, I don't know anything about roster upgrades or downloads...Do you have equipment or something, help???

If you have an xbox live account, log on to online through the game. It will automaticly update. Thats how last years Madden worked.

What?! No Chase Lyman love... geez he's not even injured this year. :(

Last year I printed out all of the BCS conference schools rosters and put them in myself. Pain in the ass, but it annoyed me more to just have the players listed by position and number.

And, yes, I felt like a dork.

No way in hell I was gonna do that. I alays put in LSU, and that's it. When I import them to Madden, whatever players I pick I get their real names, and leave the computer with players with #s until I trade for them or something. But damn, that must have taken a long time. That's commitment right there bud.

me and my two friends do every player on every team before we play one single game. We would invest about 12 hours per day, and be done in 4 days...for ps2. I could never play that game without the real names on it. We would do it in shifts, i own a business so i only work 3 hours a week, one of them works offshore 7 and 7...and one of them doesnt even work so we didnt neglect anyone, except for the Papa John's guy and the person standing next to us.

LOl....I love NCAA this year. My Alma Mater is actually in the game....I had completely forgotten that FIU had a football team. Do they suck...of course the team is only 4 or 5 years old....but man.....its cool to even see them. Using them in Dynasty Mode is totally worth it. I could pick a powerhouse and rule the nation year in and year out....or....start with a no-prestige school like FIU.....and turn them into National Champs! Then draft my players into Madden. All of you who use this board and have both Xbox Live and a 360....lemme know...;0) My screen name is the same as my name here except there is a space between the s in Fatius and the J in Jeebs.

Oh...and as for Lyman.....there is no hate but.....lets face it.....he is almost like watching glass and praying it doesn't shatter.

A better analogy would have been, He is like throwing rocks up against glass and hoping it doesn't shatter. You see because he would be the glass, and the rocks would be other football players, or a jersey someone left laying around in the locker room, or a blade of grass, or hell a crack in the sidewalk or too strong a wind. :lol: :lol:

Ok...let me correct myself....watching Lyman is like watching glass getting hit by rocks and praying that the glass does not shatter. (Lyman was always the glass by the way but the rocks is a good touch.) :hallucinate:

yeah another fragile wineglass like cam cleeland. Only at least Cam showed a glimmer of hope at first in the NFL.
