Saints Probowl Linebackers?
 

The year the Saints had all four linebackers in the probowl, were they the only linebackers there for the NFC? If not, who were the other linebackers, on that probowl team?

I'm sure Lawrence Taylor was probably on that roster, but I'm too freakin lazy to look up that information.

The year that you are referring to is 1992, when all 4 Saints Linebackers, Jackson, Mills, Johnson, and Swilling made it to the Pro Bowl. The other 3 LBs were Wilder Marshall (WAS), Mike Singletary (CHI), and Jessi Tuggle (ATL). I am not sure who was on the first team and who was on the second team, but those are the guys. Also, the year prior, 1991, Mills, Johnson, and Swilling all made it to Hawaii.

And in true SAINTS fashion, the team never really fully appreciated what they had and let one of the best all-time linebacking corps just slip away. What a shame that was!

The Dome Patrole was an awesome group! I remember the days when New Orleans always had great defense! I wish we had one of those linebackers on our roster right now!

I'd give anything just to have 1 of those guys back (still in their prime, of course.)
