Oh, hahaha! That's funny because we didn't just pick up a damn good linebacker. Plus, linebacker is the biggest hole on our team, not cornerback.

i am a realistic fan, but we are as good as some of those team. i would put us around 26.

here are some teams that i think we're as good as:

cleveland, tennessee, detroit, houston, nyj, san fran, green bay, buffalo, oakland


i think it's funny that they have us dropping a spot since the summer.

having said all this, we sure need to win those first two road games to have a shot at 8 wins.

i say we go 6-10

#31 seems a little low for us. The packers, Raiders, Browns, Texans, Lions, Jets, and Titans, I feel are not better than the Saints, IMO. I think the Cardinals are better than they have them ranked also. I mean seriously, the Vikes and Browns are higher than them, I don't agree with that. I would have to say I don't agree with alot of these team rankings.

31 I think is realistic! We have no O-line, we have no D-line, no LB's... we are going into this season hoping to pull a few wins based an a couple of great plays again. We needed to build this team from the front lines first before anything else...

28, I think the O-Line is no good but our D-Line is better than you think, might pull a surprise on you.

It's all over the NFL...Our LB suck.

Its not just the LB's its the Line as well... teams will be able to run on us at will all day. Our O-line will get Brees killed and Deuce/Bush will have some great plays but not nearly enough to get us to 8-8

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I see us at #26. That's a fair ranking.

I will say that I think we have put in heady guys over workout wonders. I'm as worried about CB as I am LB.

I still think we may be better defensive wise, than last year. I'm optimistic that this team will deliver Sunday.

Reference us being better than the Browns, we will find out for sure this week. I think we will be lucky to get to 6-10. However, stranger things have happened. I mean Art Shell is coachin the Raiders..AGAIN..... :hallucinate: And Brett Favre said the this Packers team is as good as any he has ever played with :flush: ..........And NBC has football again........ :givemebeer:

Euph, seriously, why are you still posting? Our Oline is not that bad, I don't know if you watched the preseason at all, but they only gave up 1 sack on Brees in 63 dropbacks (I think). And that was against some of the best rushers in the game (Dwight Freeney, DeMarcus Ware, the Bengals ends). The running game was just fine, and it looked like Payton was holding back on the playcalling. The Oline is going to be fine, but I do agree that the Dline is pretty bad because of the tackles. However, that being said, nobody here predicted going 8-8, I'm pretty sure everybody is expecting 4-12, 5-11, 6-10, 7-9 or something like that.
