***Thoughts on Brees going against the Packers***Two TD's
 

I think Brees was a little nervous last week throwing for only 176 yards with half of his passes thrown to Bush but I think he got it out of his system and should play much better against the Packers.
Just go back to last week and see how well Grossman did against the Packers.
Should be a really good game for Brees, IMO he'll throw for 250 yards and 2 TD's
btw..the two TD's will go to Colston, Reggie Bush will get his first rushing TD this weekend..
I see another quite game for Horn...

I think the Falcons will lose to the Bucs putting us in first place in the NFC South, doesn't getter better than that this early in the season..

I like where your head is at...if the Saints play the way they should...they win the game 27-17. If they play like they have in the past in these types of games...they lose 31-6. Lets just see what unfolds.

I know Brees will do better here, we'll get those guys back for making fun of us...

I don't think the reason Brees' numbers were "low" because he was nervous. I think the majority of the throws to Bush were designed, and what you saw last week is the Saints' offense. It is the closest thing to a west coast offense Saints fans have seen. Brooks and co. didn't run anything close to a west coast offense. Don't hold your breath waiting for Brees' passing game to consist of 30 yard post patterns all day long.

I don't think with our running game clicking like it is that we have to have Brees throw for that many yards.

I think Brees is the best player on the Saints team, might take a few games to prove I'm right ,
we shall soon find out...

no full back brees will be passing. think henderson will do well. look for the TE to get involved more. I hope we acttack more down firld this week. last week was way to much short yardage passing.

I pointed out a while back that throwing downfield is not one of Drew's strengths...especially coming off shoulder surgery...expect the short and intermediate passes to be his strong suit and hope that Henderson or Bush can break one and take it to the house.

once or twice a game he has to launch one. it keeps the safties honest and opens up the running game a bit. believe me i do not expect drew to air out with the best of them. he is a master at the mid range game. but the cleveland game was way to heavy in the short passing game. few more mid range shots would be nice, with one or two deep.

now that the run game is established as well as bush being used everywhere on the field will teams start using a spy on him???

Someone will have to account for Bush all day which will open up the passing game.
