Will this defense earn a nickname this year?
 

I don't think it could stick but Jim Henderson yesterday after talking to Brian Young called it the 'Oreo Defense'. Why? 4 black lineman, 3 white LBs, and 4 black DBs. Kinda cute.

Any other potential ideas?

Um... Brian Young is white... so I guess it's 3-4-4 (black-white-black). It's a dumb nickname, no regional ties.

Survivors 9th Ward- broken or bent, they still are winners

French 4 Quarters- And you thought one French Quarter was wild

Levee Breakers- A drowning defense (Led Zep 'When The Levee Breaks' anthem)

Stormtroopers- Better watch out when these Saints come marching in
