strength of schedule
I\'m not saying put literal stock in exact strength of schedule numbers.
I -am- saying, however, that they do have -some- value. \"But just because a team did it last year means nothing this year\".... I don\'t quite fully agree with that. I doubt that Tampa will go 3-13 this year. Or Oakland or Philly. So I guess that means, at least to me, that last year\'s showing does have -some- small amount value. I would be nervous to see all of our division rivals playing the 3-13/4-12/5-11 losers from last year. I believe that would give them some small tidbit of a competitive advantage, however small. I\'m just happy that that doesn\'t appear to be the case. |
strength of schedule
Two years ago the Bears were 13-3, what were they last year? Two years ago the Rams went to the Super Bowl, what was their record last year? No point here, just playing devil\'s advocate. Maybe the Bucs lose Brooks and Lynch to injury and everyone figure out their system and they end up 6-10. You never know in the NFL...
