Top Excuses Why Atlanta Lost (They lost, we didn't win it)

1. Kornheiser- the Atlanta defense was overwhelmed by the emotion. I suppose no one else in the house was either.

2. Atlanta Radio- Dunn took the Falcon players on a tour of the devastation and they were too wrung out to play hard. The Saints players living amidst the devastation couldn't be affected I am sure.

3. If Mora was gonna lose any game he wanted it to be this one. Right. He and Haslett do know how to do that here.

4. Morten Anderson threw it. Yes, it was a great conspiracy. Carlos Marcelo lives!

5. The greatest one from Mr. head up his own rear, Joey Sunshine Theisaman- the turf! Yes, the turf was slow. "Like playing on mud" (!?!?) It took the game away from Michael Vick. But NOT away from Bush, Deuce, Horn, Devery, or Colston. Please write ESPN my friends.

All I saw was the Saints handing the Falcons their ass last night. We beat them in every part of the game. The defense looked great, the offense was hard to stop, and not to mention of special teams play. The Falcons didn't just lose, they we dominated.

saintfan 09-26-2006 10:06 AM

Steve Young called it after the game, while Irvin and Jackson were pecker deep in the "emotion" of the game, Young pointed out that it was a well played game by a well coached "pretty darn good" football team.

I listened to some Atlanta radio this morning. No credit to the Saints of course. Complaints ranged from the turf, to the fact that the refs didn't call a close game for the Atlanta receivers so of course "the fix was in".

Sad. Really sad.

1- he is a boob
2-so its Dunns fault for doing what is right and good??? F*** ATLANTA
3- Mora couldnt hear his cell phone thanks to all the SAINTS fans who gave it their all last night and are probably a little hoarse today
4-THIS IS IT.......THE REAL TRUTH
5-the saints have no speed on the team so therefore the field was the determining factor...(as if)

saintfan 09-26-2006 10:13 AM

I'm sorry. That was a good "no call" on the interference against Mike. The only "fix" was the "fixin to whip that ass" attitude the Saints had prior to the game.

Didja see the news coming out of Georgia? Seems Vick had all kinds of trouble and could not even get back into his multi million dollar house. An apparent New Orleans fan painted an black and gold endzone with SAINTS on it across his whole front yard.

a little bit more of a Vick quote that I only had heard some of-

“That was Katrina over there, Vick said of the Saints. “That was Katrina. We had to work for everything. Those guys were pumped up. They studied us. They did all the right things. We didn’t do anything right.

Steve Young was the only one Monday niight who left Divine Intervention out of it. All through the game none of the so called expert in the booth gave an ounce of credit to the team till the fourth quarter. even then God was always given credit. Maybe the media should have read this.

Now I am hearing a common remark. Next Sundays game in Carolina will make this legit if we can win.

I hope Steve gets the laugh he deserves if we win the game. Rub it in their faces for all the saints fans.

Oh yeah one of my favorite was the falcons were neturalized by the new turf. It was like playing in the rain. LOL. what do you do when the field is wet? run the ball. what a bunch of idots. Wasn't Atlanta the #1 rushing offense in the NFL? that should have played into there hands. like I said Idiots. wonder why we did so well running the ball and passing? were we playing on the drier side? just say it, we as the media are idots espically on espn. except Joe of course.

fhs623 09-27-2006 09:08 AM

Did you hear the remark that Joe "THE ASS" said about the turf.......

"" its hard for them to run with their "BODIES" over their legs...........then Kornhole said.............if thats true .... then where are their bodies ?????????????

I don't think they'll be any respect after the panthers. they are just another 1-2 team going down the tubes.

cajuntexcop 09-27-2006 12:54 PM

HAHAHHAHA...I love it...what a bunch of Boobs.......saggy ones at that...

I have a new slogan for Atlanta....

Atlanta............the Dallas of the deep south!!!!!

Whata bunch of whiners......they got, not only their arses....but their entire body handed back to them last night. The Saints are a good team.....they have a good coach, and they have beat 3 NFL TEAMS...not high school, or college teams, but 3 NFL teams...... Thats the facts... screw the media, screw the Falcons. The facts are the facts..no fix was in (hahaha...love the Carlos Marcelo theory...hahahahah)....it was more than just emotion...Atlanta got beat by a damn good Saints team.....TEAM.....no individuals, no one trying to do to much on their own...they won as a TEAM........

GEAUX SAINTS :saintsfan:

Steve Young's a hypocrite too. He was adamant against the Saints having a chance to beat the Falcons. All the way up until Green Day and U2 performed.

They all suck... The only good ones are Jim Henderson, Hokie, Kenny, and the rest of the WWL crew.

I must have missed the part where he was hypocritical. He did pick the Falcons. But after the game he said the Saints were good and didn't lay on any of the emotion or fluke drivel as others may have. At least from what I heard from him....

So the homers were the only good ones? I don't think Tom Jackson sucked.

You heard correctly.

xan 09-27-2006 02:14 PM

you could actually tell what Hokie was saying between the uh's, the ya know's and the I mean's and the let me tell you's?

DJLengai 09-27-2006 02:18 PM

I guess Alge dropping the TD pass was part of the deep NFL conspiracy to get us a win?

RedNekSaint 09-27-2006 03:43 PM

Yep, Morten Andersen was sent into Alge's room the night before and threatened to beat him with his walker if Crump caught a TD pass.

Yeah we shouldn't lump EVERYONE in the same group. Chris Berman and especially Tom Jackson are pro-Saints fellas.

The only ones not smoking in the booth was Spike
