so much for staying humble...even after the first two games, i thought the saints would still only win 5 games...now i am starting to think it will be somewhere between the 5 i predicted and the 11 he hopes for...if payton gets these guys to be 9-7, he should be the coach of the year.

i gotta agree, its too good of a story not to. I think if we make playoffs he gets coach of the year no doubt. If we can beat Carolina and Tampa and go into the bye week 5-0, we got a damn good shot. Then if we can steal 3 wins out of the Baltimore, Tampa, Pittsburg, Cincy we got it. Baltimore can be beat, Tampa will be beat, Pittsburg has shown they arent as good as before, Cincy is playing damn good football. Im glad we play the Ravens at home. Hopefully every home game will be meaningful and they can use it every time. If we pull 3 off there, we are 8-1 with some easier games down the stretch. We just have to keep momentum, I just hate that we play Baltimore right after the bye. Go saints!

i'm not predictin', i'm just sayin'...

even with no title Payton is on track for coach of the year in my books. I've ranted before, it's not the W-L but the quality of play. Get that right and the W's will follow.
