Ok this Sort of relates to the other thread but its on a little diffrent topic....

Now the question is Do you think Payton Will rely more on duece next week or will he continue to Pursue Bush?.........and what would you do???

And after hearing a little from you guys ill give my thoughts about it (still a lil split on it)

Payton may not have had the time necessary to prepare the running game necessary to be effective against the panthers. Deuce would have gotten more touches had the run been more effective and, as others have noted, the dominant passing game tried to extend the defense vertically with one or two long passes.

Payton's all about taking what the defense gives, and it seemed that the panthers wanted to get beat with underneath passing.

I think he is trying to make sure Bush gets his first TD. Once this happens, we will see a different Bush.

I would rely on Deuce more. He picks up POSITIVE yards on most of his carries. I would use Bush the same way he used him in the Atlanta game.

I think Payton gives Deuce more carries, 11 isn't nearly enough, Deuce has it in him to carry 22-24 times.
Oh I would give Bush plays too, mix it up, "just win baby", win..

Deuce needs 20-25 carries, he gets better with each carry
Once they can get Deuce going, while in the 50 yard range, it'll be hard to stop em...That's when Bush can start getting carries, they'll begin to try to stop Bush's style, and that's when you slap Deuce in, and then keep getting both carries, like they did the Browns and Falcons game

I think it will be the Bucs and not Payton that will be doing the pursuing. :wink:
