Troy Vincent Available

In an expected move the Bills parted ways with veteran safety Troy Vincent Thursday. Vincent, who has been rehabbing his injured hamstring since the Week One game at New England, was healthy and able to pass a physical this week prompting his termination

I mean we have Old Man River Bellamy. Troy Vincent at 50% of his prime is better than Craft IMO. Read the link, he has been teaching the young Bills DBs about reading film. Sounds like a good influence besides on the field play.

Yea or Nay?

His age that bothers me some , I mean the guy is 35 years old and coming off an injury, I don't know about this one Kelley..
I'd have to pass on him if it was up to me..

Wait, how does his age bother anyone and Bellamy or Beerman's doesn't? Whoa. Vincent was a better player than either in his prime. I woulda brought him in at safety like ghandi mentioned in the Bellamy thread.

Vincent's age cant be a factor. Its not as if we are targeting him in the offseason to patch a glaring hole on our team. Its midseason and we may be looking for some depth and possibly some veteran leadership on an otherwise very young team. His age is not a factor. He is not being looked at as a long term solution...just about 10 games.

:D
I say ..............yes.........!!!

But not long term..........but who knows !!!

The dude may have lost a step from his All-Pro days as a CB, but I'm pretty sure he can still play safety. Look at the other guys in that mold that made the transition well into their careers & played well......Rod Woodson, Aeneas Williams, etc...... I think he would be a solid edition, if not for his veteran knowledge alone.

I say take a chance on him...Cut Fife for the spot...
