The QB studying/discussing snapshots with someone, player or coach.
... just about every TV shot of Brees on the sidelines, he's got snapshots in hand and is talking to either a coach or a player. Even without the snapshots, he's talking with Joe, or Deuce, or someone, about was going on in the game.

The coach coaching on the sidelines.
... there's no sneers and leers and "dumbass" comments between grinding teeth while the player goes and hides in the bench. You blow it out there, coach wants to know what happened and tells you what you need to do. And no favoritisms. I couldn't quite make what he told Jammal, but you could clearly see coach looking at Reggie's eyes asking "what happened?" and then lecturing him when Reggie couldn't get a 1st down. Speaking of Jammal, when coach was all over him, Jammal was looking down nodding in agreement, which shows that he respects and believes in his coach, and tells me coach is actually coaching. This implies that there finally is ACCOUNTABLITY for your actions on the field.

The coach working the refs/system.
... coach works the refs. He's intense when he talks to them, sure, but he's not dropping f-bombs. He's gotten a couple calls go his way by simply pointing out things, like the intentional grounding against TB. Loved the way he gingerly dropped that red flag between the 1st down marker and the ref during the TB game when the spotted Reggie short.

A game plan/play calling.
... yes, this team has holes, obviously, but how many teams in the NFL can say they don't. Yet, there's a game plan every week, trying to exploit opponents' weaknesses, rather than merely trying to run things and hope someone makes a play, all while trying to hide ours. Oh, and in game ADJUSTMENTS. And what can you say about an 8 minute 4th quarter drive that culminates in a game winning FG as the clock hits 0:00?

A no quit attitude.
... down 13 in the first quarter? No prob, ahead by halftime. Lost lead in 3rd? No prob. Stop them, then drive it down their throats for 8 minutes and win the game as time expires. These guys are playing with pride. They don't want to let the fans, or coach, or themselves down.

A total team effort and unselfishness.
... from Reggie to Deuce to Drew to Joe... they know they need each other to win.

An offense that distributes the ball.
Reggie, Deuce, Joe, Marques, Devery, Ernie, Josh, everyone is in on the action. Reggie may be leading the laegue in receptions, but a lot of those are pretty much extended handouts, caught behind the line.
