Well, if someone, somewhere, is going to put up numbers in an effort to show who is better than who in the NFL we might as well try to win that, too.

Every week you spout this. Why not save yourself the trouble and not click on the link if it mentions Power Rankings/Polls. WE GET IT, you don't like them. There are people on this board that do, and don't need to read your dislike every week.

You know what they are? They're entertainment from Sunday to Sunday (between games) for people that follow NFL teams.

The games themselves are solely for entertainment purposes, and have no bearing on whether or not Kim Jong-Il will shove a nuclear device up his a** this week, or next.

The games are games.

The Power Rankings are just another facet of entertainment in conjunction with the games themselves.

I really think people need to boycott these polls. They are nothingness... they mean nothing. They are opinonated and not even close to being what the so-called BCS stands for and you know people have issues with that as it is...

Yeah ok your team wins, read articles about the win, read articles about a player or the team but come on anyone of us monkeys on here can set up our own Power Rankings and will have the same amount of validity. Now if they has some merit and used a system like the BCS and gave out a trophy ok, lets put something behind it otherwise they are a joke.
