I liked last years crew ok but I'd pick the three stooges over the bunch they have now. Exactly what does Tony add?

TheKillerBs 10-23-2006 01:53 PM

Hell, Dennis Miller was better than Theisman!

xan 10-23-2006 02:14 PM

I like Kornheiser, but ESPN needs someone a little better at reality than Theisman

saintbuck 10-23-2006 03:12 PM

Chris Berman, Tom Jackson, and Mike Ditka

The ESPN "B" Monday Night Team they used for their season openning double header...

Dick Vermeil - 10+ year college broadcasting for ABC
Ron Jawarski - smartest analyst around, treats it like he did before playing: study, study study.
whoever was doing the playcalling... though Mike Trico isn't bad at it.

These guys were smart and funny. They explained why a play was good or why it was stupid.

... I don't pay too much attention of who's doing the game, but I do like Tirico as play buy play, and think Tony K. is actually doing a great job, especially when he calls on the stupid things that Theismann says.

Spaeking of which, I was watching some college game last Saturday, and they had a woman doing the play by play. She wasn't bad at all.

Kenny, Hokie and Buddy.

Sentimental picks obviously.

I would have to shoot something, possibly myself, if this were ever to happen.

Brad Nessler. Professional to the fullest. I enjoy listening to him. He does the commentating for NCAA football for Playstation as well.

I'd say get the Albert boys up there in the booth. Marv & son Kenny (or Uncle Steve) and some smoking hot chick with big cans who just looks good during the time outs ect.! They can just zoom in on her clevage when the play is stopped. And we can listen to Marv comment on how smoking hot she is... All play by play and none of that weak ass color! Who gives a darn about so and so's career 3 quarter stats? Anything would be better then what they've got up there now!

I can say this. Last night's telecast was AWFUL! After every play we had to sit and watch the sideline cameras go from TO to Parcels to Jerry Jones and then start all over again, sometimes right up to the time of the snap! If they were going to interview Emmit Smith, why not do it during the hour and a half pregame? I sure hope they don't move our game with the cowboys to Monday night. I don't think I'll be able to watch it.

redjem25 10-24-2006 09:24 AM

Mike Ditka, Terry Bradshaw & Troy Aikman
They may not be the best but I like all three of them.

jrmllb 10-24-2006 09:48 AM

Archie Manning, Greg Kinnear, Kieth Oberman....Make monday night special again with the superstars people like that have attitudes, real opinions, experience in the game, and are enretaining...I miss Archie in the booth...he had good things to say and has a great personality...People would watch...
