Bears-Giants to be Sunday night game Nov. 12

(Oct. 24, 2006) -- The Chicago Bears-New York Giants game on Sunday, Nov. 12, will be played at 8:15 p.m. ET on NBC and the New Orleans Saints-Pittsburgh Steelers game will move to 4:15 p.m. ET on FOX as part of the first week of flexible scheduling, the NFL announced today.

Sucks because we were going to be playing in that Sunday night slot.

We were? All of our games were at noon for the rest of the year.

They said that on ESPN radio a little while ago. I guess they could be mistaken because I thought like you did, that all our games were for noon.

Well, the schedule says they are all at noon, so, unless it was a flex deal, we weren't scheduled. The article even said there were no games in that slot.

Or the NFL can give us another Monday Night game this season...

Monday Nights are set. Sunday nights are flexible scheduling. And with our schedule, how do you not get at least one more Prime Time game? I see @ Atl being HUGE, same with @ NYG. But the biggest could be Carolina at home for a playoff spot on the last day of the season!

That's just wishful thinking on my part, I know it's not possible but a Sunday night game might be.
It doesn't really matter to me really, I don't care which day of the week, I'm watching it either way.

I wish all Saints games would only be played on Sunday at noon. My work schedule makes it very difficult for me to stay up during Sunday or Monday Night games. I do not even like it when the Saints play the late afternoon game because I am usually wasted by then... LOL

sorry matthew, but i love the 3:15 games and sunday night games just because that they are guaranteed to show the game here in san antonio

But you got to remember, by moving the game to 3:15, that means it will becomes a national telvised game.

doesnt make much of a difference...it just means i can sleep in that day.

Blah! That puts me getting home really late from New Orleans. I have school the next day, man. Lame.

I will be offshore so it being a late game actually gives me a better chance of catching it
