ok, predictions please......................

man, i look at this game and then the rest of the schedule and continue to shake my head. every game looks tough..........this is really one we have to be on our toes for though. bellick will be looking to do payton in as carolina coach fox did....
and carolina will beat dallas to get closer to us no matter what.....here i am worried about footsteps................duh..........................
the saints are playing their best football. they continue to bend and not break..........
i don't know what to look for, but i look forward to it.........
SAINTS WIN, SAINTS WIN, SAINTS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TO GO 6-1 AND STAY AHEAD OF THE PACK........
i also look for the bucs to make a late season push at the playoffs......i would not want to play the bucks out of all of the nfc south......................smitty

While I don't take the Ravens lightly, I have a feeling this will in retrospect feel like an easy game compared to playing the Bucs again. My prediction: Both games are going to be hard as hell and excruciating as a fan to watch.

Key will be on turnovers. We get some we win.
We lose if we turn the ball over. Brees has got to be on target and Bush has got to hold on to the ball. Gotta get points when we are in red zone too. We win 17-16

You want a fearless prediction?

110 yards rushing & one TD (D&B combined)
260 yards passing and two TDs (Horn & Colston)
3 Sacks against McNair

Final score: 27 to 20 Saints win.

29-17 Saints

Saints offense is clicking right now while the Ravens offense is just terrible.
The Ravens don't score a lot of points, nothing will change for them this Sunday.
Play maker this week for the Saints will be Colston.

This is going to be a low scoring game. 17-9 Saints. Ravens won't see the endzone once.

I predict a tight game. 23-21 Saints. Stover missing a long potential game winner to have us on edge till the very end.

LTF... just busting on you man.

Bobaganoosh 10-26-2006 08:27 PM

I say 21-6 Saints. I think we force 3 turnovers and that will lead to two TD's on a short field. McNair never gets going and we make them 1 dimensional and shut them down. We dont do much offensively but Deuce punches it in twice and Brees finds Horn for the third and final TD.

leilung 10-26-2006 09:35 PM

Any feedback on how our O stacks up against their pass D?

AllSaints 10-26-2006 10:31 PM

24-20 saints win a close 1.... It will come down to the last seconds of the game... Carney for a 48 yrd for a 4 point lead and he gets it.... ravens go in 5 wide with 20 seconds left mcnair taken down by Smith clock is running throws one up knocked down SAINTS WIN SAINTS WIN !!!!

xan 10-26-2006 11:06 PM

Each team will grind out a few drives into the red zone, but only one td apiece, both in the air. The Saints offense will move somewhat more easily than the Raven's offense. Bush and Deuce get tackled a lot near or behind the line of scrimmage. McNair finds many open receivers, but mostly on short patterns. Each team turns the ball over twice, with an INT apiece, while a Ravens' receiver coughs up the ball on a big hit over the middle in Ravens' territory and Reggie gets slammed for a fumble while trying to juke near midfield. Only the Saints capitalize on one of the TO's. Brees takes 4 sacks while McNair gets hit a lot.

The Dome noise in the second half disrupts the Ravens into multiple pre-snap penalties and 2 ill-timed time outs.

Carney hits a fg to make it 16-10 early in the 4th and the Saints hold on for dear life. Saints 16-13.

Again,

Bal 13-NO 31

This is my story and I'm sticking to it!

4 TDs 1 FG.
We win huge.
We will skyrocket up all of those "Gay" Power Rankings next week!

redjem25 10-27-2006 10:03 AM

Saints 20- Ravens 13
6 & 1 baby and on our way to Tampa Bay to beat the Bucs!

FatiusJeebs 10-27-2006 10:11 AM

Leilung....that has to be a doctored pic right?

I feel that the points for this one are gonna be tough to come by. 14-10 or 21-17 Saints win.

3 TD's, 2 FG's, and a safety?
4TD's and a 2 point conversion?

The last time 29 points were scored was in week 4 of the preseason. Both Miami and Denver scored 29 points in preseason victories against the Rams and Arizona, respectively.
Oddly enough, teams scored 19 points 7 times this year so far...

... so I didn't go out to lunch today... :)
