If you are going to lose
 

This was the week and opponent to lose to. Bear with me.
In order of importance: Non division game: Check, Non-conference game: Check
Every other NFC team that was playing an AFC team lost except for Atlanta and Minnesota (TBD tonight). All in all we laid an egg but it came at a pretty good time in the season against a very good opponent and we limited our injuries to a slight sprain of Reggie Bush's ankle.
I was upset about the loss yesterday, but today I am pretty much over it. Now if we lose next week to the Bucs (a far more important game) then the fireworks will begin.

Losing this game is not the end of the world. It kinda drives home what Coach Payton has been saying about turnovers and penalties killing any team. We will be re-focused this week I am sure, and put it to the Bucs.

Well.. hell no its not the end of the world.... I was kinda expecting that coming off the bye week we would be a little rusty... I do think we need to get the ball a rolling against the bucs... WHO DAT??? Deuce Mcallister is his name seems Deuce always has a good day against tampa come on reggie lets start to run the ball between the tackles ..... im tired of these negative lost on sweeps and counters.... Remeber against Browns he was running good up the middle and he has 1 or 2 plays a game were he breaks some tackles.... I wanna see more of this but hey he is a rookie... and I saw him on the feild alot in the Bmore game seems like we werent even gunna try to run after they scored 21.... and our D got exposed..... man to man we got owned.... have to do something something we need this D to step on up again come on LBs lets start making some plays....

Don't give me that crap that the Saints were off the bye week, expect a let down BS.

Here is a clue... Ravens were coming off there bye as well.

Deuce was on the sidelines most of the game too. Notice.....when Deuce is on the sidelines, we get in the hole against other teams. If you doubt this, watch the Carolina, Philadelphia, & yes....the Baltimore games. We need Deuce healthy & in the game. Reggie is a great receiver & will be a great back, but for now......Deuce is the guy who carries our running game & the offense hurts when he's out.

Look, Duece > Reggie. If Duece is injured then I understand him spending more time on the sideline. But McAllister is our RB.
I believe that Payton is taking this "Bush is the ultimate weapon" thing to far. Bush should not be throwing passes. Catching passes, yes.

Hey SaintsinMD, Vick is not, and will never be, greater than any Manning. Male or female.

And by the way, what was that malarky on the Ravens sideline in the dome doing some weak-ass dance? The Ravens are classless. I may be generalizing but I've thought that about this team since 2000.
I give into my weakness when I say that I now root for most other teams to beat the Ravens.
I should only cheer the Saints on for victory but I am weak. I want the Ravens to lose. And the Cowboys. And the Fallclowns.

I cant help but root against the Dolphins and i have no idea why. Darndest thing.

You'd better hope the Panthers lose a lot of games.
I still think they will be in the NFC championship game.
Probably the Super Bowl.
