Volunteering
 

Guys,

I am a college student, and I really want to spend my Spring Break this year in New Orleans helping to clean up. The problem is that I can't find an organization that I can work through that will let me go for a week to help rebuild. The United Way says it doesn't have any projects available in the area (which I don't understand), and some other organizations haven't responded to my emails. If anybody knows of any local organizations or national organizations that are still in New Orleans please let me know. Thanks y'all!

Have you tired calling your state senator or the local gov. in N.O?
