I can agree with the AFC path. The question there of course is can the Colts take on the Pats and the Broncos again in the RCA Dome the January for all the marbles.

For the NFC it's still an open question. One more loss pulls the Bears back into the pack with the Saints and the Giants. Seattle is only one game behind with frankly only two really tough games left in Denver and San Diego. If Wallace and Morris can hold the team together for one more week against St. Louis, then they'll pretty much wrap up the West and still have decent position.

But back to the Bears. Like the old nursery rhyme, when they look good, they look very very good, but when they've been bad, they've been horrid. The near loss to Arizona, the worst team in the NFL, and the loss to Miami, both show that Grossman isn't consistent. They still have this Giants game upcoming and the Pats down the line.

The Giants have played more consistently since early losses. They still have to play the Saints.

And the Saints. Tough defenses still gives them problems. They need to work on this deficit over the next 8 games playing Pittsburg, the Giants, Dallas, and the Panthers again. If they can overcome this, and the Giants prevail this weekend, then the Superdome will be hosting playoff games throughout the NFC playoffs.

Like I said, it's still an open question.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.
