Cinncy at Home in the Dome

Let's move on fella's (ladies included) we got to move on...

I am predicting a blow out in the Dome a la the Falcon game...Our boys are clearly pissed and want to exact revenge for two recent losses one of which was in the Dome...

Cinncy's O-line is questionable and they have had a rash of injuries on both the O-line and D...Look for a big game from the D-Line and on LB's...Deuce and Reggie will light the scoreboard in the true coming out party for the "Smash & Flash combo"....

Count down to Halo and Xan berading me for overzealous predictions...4...3...2...

It's not a must game but it's one of the most important games for them this year, we need to stay up front...
It won't be a blow out but I think they pull this one off....

Going into the Ravens, I could think of no "intangible"s except being in the Dome that were in our favor.

Going into this game, the only "intangible" I see in Cincy's favor is their losing streak and them needing a win. But that's negated by us coming off 2 losses, too (not back to back but our last home game was a loss. The players do not want 2 losses in a row at home). All the others work out in our favor of not coming into the Dome flat or unprepared.

I am thinking this game will break the 1000 combine yardage mark.

The only things I am worried about are Rudi Johnson and how our secondary is going to play against Carson Palmer, Ocho Cinco, TJ Houshmenzadkehqwofhekowski

I dont know about a blow out we may have a QB dual with Palmer and Brees....

My biggest fear in this game is Chad Johnson and stopping their running game, they need a win worst than the Saints so they'll come to the Dome with a win on their mind but so will the Saints..
Should be a great game..
Just a note, the Bengals put up over 40 points on a stingy Charger defense, OUCH!!!!

charger D hasn't been all that stingy of late.

No our defense is getting exposed... badly... something has to happen quick if we want to have a good 2nd half....

I'm not going to say anything. My pre-preseason and pre-season predictions had us 6-3 entering this game (after a loss to Pitt) and I put us down for a loss this week against the Bungles. I would be happy with a win, no matter how.

Just chill out folks, our defense will show up i promise, i predict TWO(2) int's next sunday, i mean hell we're due.

I myself always look for McKenzie to have step-up days where he picks off two. 8)
He was a great find in '04 and is more deserving of spotlight time than I see him get.

jrmllb 11-15-2006 07:25 AM

McKenzie has not got burned in while I think he plays harder when Thomas is not in the game to compensate...I hope that is not true...Craft has got to go...Hoosh and Johnson stand a good chance of eating us alive...Our safety net on those two is Bullocks putting on some monster hits...Simoneau got knocked around against the Steelers...I hope Gibbs is thinking of playing Danny Clark more...

gfanaticlsu 11-15-2006 07:43 AM

MM has been playing a lot better lately. I noticed at least the last two games that he has been tackling better, even coming up and supporting the run. That is something we haven't seen from him a whole bunch.

Bobaganoosh 11-15-2006 12:11 PM

McKenzie has been playing better and he still is an above average corner. But it was him who lost contain on Parker's second long run. I think it has become clear that an upgrade at CB is top priority this offseason.

It's all good baby. My office spotted me two plaza tickets on the 35 yard line. I'm taking my dad, who I will properly intoxicate with good hard liquor before the game. We will be shooting spitballs towards the eyeballs of Ocho Cinco & T.J. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Houshmanzadeh. We may be able to get one at Carson Palmer as well. He'll be on the fifty though & my aim's not as good as it used to be. "Float like a butterfly....Sting like a bee.....They can't catch what they can't see!" :D

Shoot a spitball for LTF, hit Chad Johnson if you have a shot on him..

RE: Re: RE: Cinncy at Home in the Dome

You know that Cinncy comes to the Dome sunday looking to light up our secondary and run thru our D-line. And in their house they probably would, but they`ll have to get past the 12th man here.

I see it simply like this, head to head Cinncy isnt a better team than the Saints, and by sunday night it will be 1 of 2 possible outcomes;
#1) turnovers, stupid penalties and dropped balls = 6-4
or
#2) No turnovers, smart football fundamentals = 7-3
