Horn, draft picks get deals

NEW ORLEANS (June 2, 2003) -- The New Orleans Saints signed Joe Horn to a three-year contract. Horn, the Saints' leading receiver the last three years, started seeking a new contract after last season.

Terms were not disclosed, but Horn was seeking an average salary in line with the NFL's top 10 highest-paid receivers.

The Saints also signed two draft picks to three-year deals -- defensive end Melvin Williams, a fifth-round selection, and wide receiver Kareem Kelly, a sixth-round selection.
