Big Play Deveray...
Say what you want to about Devery Henderson... he doesn't have great hands, he doesn't practice well, he's not grasping all the offensive plays, and so forth. But ever since his rookie preseason, all this guy has ever done in any game when he has been allowed to play a significant role in is produce big play after big play. Yeah, Henderson may never have great hands, but he's a game changer... he was at LSU, and he is for the Saints. And credit definitely goes out to Payton and staff for getting even more from Big Play Deveray! Time now for our WR's to burn the Niner's sec.

RE: Big Play Deveray...
He is doing good, and I hope the whole team continues to do well.

RE: Big Play Deveray...
Burn Burn Burn the Niners....Too many bad memories of those guys absolutley killing us in the old days...I have refrained from making the Reggie Bush Coming Out Parties until now...I am predicting a Reggie Bushathon when he sets foot on California soil...I think there will be a strong contingent of Bushie fans there to cheer all our guys on...

RE: Big Play Deveray...
Sorry my bad...we've got the Niners at home this week...Still I think Reggie could go nuts on a suspect at times defence...Hope we cover Vernon Davis like we did Crumpler although I genuinely think Davis is a more dangerous threat because of his speed than Crumpler even if Davis is coming off injury

You have to give credit to Devery for continuing to work instead of dogging it, a la Stallworth, and you have to give credit to Payton for asking Devery just to do the things he does naturally...run deep, run under the ball and try to bring it in. As for this week, this is a game that if the Saints want to be considered a legit contender, they have to win and they have to win easy. They need to come out, take control of the game early just like they did against the Falcons and prove that they are serious contenders.

DH is making a big difference for the Saints, I think he'll continue to improve now that Brees has confidence in him as he does with Horn and Colston..
Not sure if Colston will be ready for the 49'er game , if he's not quite ready I say rest him another week and prepare for Dallas, I think we can beat the 49'ers without Colston due to DH's great play... I also think Bush will finally go off this week, in fact he will be sick going against the 49'ers.. I love this Saints team, they finally give us hope in making the playoffs, something we fans have been wanting for a few years now.. |
DH and Colston are going to give us some great options in the passing game in the future. DH is a threat to go deep every time he steps on the field which means the D will have to watch out deep which should open up shorter routes for Colston and the other guys. I actually believe DH will develope in to a really solid NFl WR.

Let's hope Big Play Devery had an off game yesterdsay. He couldn't catch a cold. He had a chance to be THE GUY yesterday and looked like the Devery of the Haz regime. He played horrible when we needed him most. Sad, sad, sad.
|
that is why I see him as our best trade bait for next year.
|
DH had a not so good game yesterday, he should be back on track going against Dallas..
Keep the Faith... |

i would not be so sure colston will be ready next week against dallas......... as young as he is, as long as it lingers, he needs to be held out, ala horn............. this game against the cowboys will be for the baby superbowl of what is to come..... but, we'll discuss that soon enough......... back to reggie..... i give him all the credit for not only performing, but getting right in the faces of the defense that thinks they are sending him a message............ way to go reggie................. i still am amazed at payton continuing to cover the bases at all positions when we need it, we beat dallas, and well, i am smiling and we have'nt even taken the field....roma is hot, but he can be cooled, and i look for payton to find a way.............smitty |

DH had an absoltely terrible day, no doubt. Big plays, his trademark, were nonexistent. He's not exactly a possession receiver, but he was thrust in that role without Horn and Colston. DH is a great no. 3 WR. Probably not 2, and definitely not a 1. With the running game and Reggie going in the 2nd half against the niners, DH really had no chance to redeem himself for his horrible 1st half. Hopefully, DH steps up in primetime against Dallas. We'll need him to stretch R. Williams from cheating against the run. The Boys' 3-4 might make running the ball tough, so we'll need our WRs to make plays.
