It is over. The game this weekend against the Skins is for the division title.

Smile for a minute, then get back into the game. Washington's season is all about spoiling ours. Kill or be killed.

The way I see it is I'm a fan, not a player. I should hope that our players will get to work on Tuesday and prepare to win the division title this week, but you better believe that I'm gonna be happy all freaking year now. This season is far and away better than anything we could have expected this year. If we bow out in the first round of the playoffs it's still a great season.

I understand about being "cautiously optimistic" and all that but there comes a point to where you should just enjoy the season and stop worrying about what could go wrong all the time.

Enjoy the ride because you never know if we'll be in the situation again.

Who says I'm not enjoying giving my brother-in-law a whole year's worth of needling? I'm just more excited about the prospect of winning the next game, which means more than winning the previous one, than I am about celebrating over relatively nothing in the grand scheme of the season.

Once we beat Washington & N.Y chances are that we will rest most of our starters for tthe Panthers Game. :( I really want us to serve they @$$ & old school butt whooping however I want our team to be healthy in the playoffs

Man, I'm still buzzing off the first game back in the Dome. SAINTS 23; FALCONS 3. So please fogive me, I've been a Saints fan since birth, I bleed BLACK and GOLD. And this VICTORY is very large because it was on national tv. Now everybody know what we already knew; WE ARE THAT DAM GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree to a point. It was more than just one win though. The Saints are now firmly in the driver's seat for the #2 seed, and the #1 seed isn't yet out of reach. A Bears loss on Monday and the Saints will only be one game behind with identical NFC conference records.

Point #2 is that total domination of the NOC poster team on a national stage in clearly a playoff atmosphere is huge. I hope more than anything else it finally shuts up the critics in the national media.

Keep it going one game at a time though. The focus is to maintain the seed for the bye. I have a feeling that Pittsburg will put the Panthers out of their (and our) misery..

You can rest assured that coach Payton will get the boys prepared for Washington. It`s Payton`s job to prepare a strategy to win (and he does a damn good job) and it`s our job as onlooking fans to recognize his efforts and enjoy the ride. And this long time fan is doing just that.

Well put Goldrush and Blacksaint. I've been saying it all year; lets just enjoy each win they give us. This was just a great played and coached game! So proud and just plain happy today.

It was more than just a game. It was a grand spanking of "America's team"... the "best team in the NFC". Enjoy and embrace it.
