The black on black will be the colors worn for the 2 remaining home games and white jerseys with black pants against the Giants on Christmas eve.

Also as a side note.... I`m not really into urban hip hop, but New Orleans own rap artist BabyBoy has a song about the Saints called "The Way I live Saints". Go to

This is great news!!!! I love it...my prayers have been answered. I always thought this team should really utilize the black. Its a luxury since it is one of your OFFICIAL colors.

Ok so more Grambling State uniforms... no problem. Notice how great they look when we are winning. I remember wearing these a few years ago and playing like clowns which probably led to us putting the all black in the closet.

I wonder if they would wear them, if they make it to the Superbowl. I love rap music, and I also wanted a rapper to make a song, about the Saints or Saints players in it.

If we make it to the SuperBowl, we should wear the gold alternte uni's. That would be interesting.

I'm sorry, but I think the black pants with the black jerseys is UGLY! I would much rather see some white pants with maybe a black or gold stripe.
Or even the gold pants, but black on black is just TOO much.

I say for one game in the playoffs we go Archie-retro and the opposing team will really go soft on us.

Reminds me of a Jerry Clower joke where Jerry was playing with MSU against Alabama. Jerry, on defense,went to the sidelines after Alabama scored and told the MSU coach they needed 2 more balls on offense, coach asked why, Jerry replied " they are using three balls, they handed one to the FB one to the RB and threw one down field".(back when Alabama wore dark maroon jerseys).

The color of the ball washes out against dark uniforms, the lighter the uniform the easier it is to detect who`s got the ball. I say keep it Black just because it looks mean.
