Anyone else here worried about Philly????

Man am I just being paranoid, or does Philadelphia worry anyone else here? I mean they are NOT the same team we played back at the beginning of the season. Garcia is playing lights out...... Comeback player of the year in my opinion.
I have a feeling we just may meet up with in the playoffs and it will not be as easy as it was last time.
Come on, somebody make me feel better.

Want me to ease your mind? How about this Andy Reid chokes come playoff time. Too bad this team is really good, and a huge threat to us.

i wouldnt say they are playing really good... just good enough to win a bunch of close games... they arent dominating teams and they dont really scare me

I give that award to Brees or Deuce light years before Garcia.

I think the Eagles are more worried about the Saints at this point than us worried about them..
The Eagles are hot right now but so are we, our offense can outscore them.

The Eagles are playing well right now but they are not a great team. We get our run stopper Hollis back for the playoffs and we should be able to handle their offense. We may have to face them again in the playoffs but in all honesty, none of the other NFC teams really have me worried. Yes, one or two of them could beat us on a good day but theres not one of them we can't beat if we play up to our potential, which I'm sure we will.

i'm worried. I get to see them every week, despite my best efforts, and they are a disciplined talented team with reasonable weapons. Mobile qb's have given the Saints fits this season, and Garcia is probably the best of the bunch on the run because of his passing accuracy. Better hope the Beagles get knocked out in the 1st round or it will be a very tough game.

I don't want to face either Philly or Seattle. I like our chances against everyone else. I think Seattle's offense can easily expose our weak secondary and Philly's defense, lead by Dawkins inc., looks pretty damn strong on paper. So hopefully they get kicked out in the first round. 8)

I believe the Eagles will exhuast themselves from this current win streak just to make postseason. It's why I'm glad the Saints lost to Washington. It rebuilds their momentum for extensive playoffs opportunity.

The Eagles are a threat with Garcia giving the rest of the team confidence but if the Eagles would ever have to go the Superdome I believe they would be worn out from their 'overachievement' to just get there..

...and Dallas absolutely did not show up for that game. I don't know how much of that margin was actually Philadelphia's 'domination'. It actually felt like an empty victory for New Orleans 'cause it seemed the Cowboys did not want to compete for the seeding whatsoever vs the Egales.

i am not scared of philly or dallas. i really am not worried about anyone except chicago because of their d and they can run the ball. plus we will have to play them in chicago. but once the playoffs are here you never know. come out flat and your done. the week off is great but we know what that can do too. we could come out flat after a week off. if we play our game we have a chance at the superbowl. i really believe that. we just can not come out flat. i want to see our starters play the first half and like two series in the third quarter against carolina. i dont want to have them not play for three weeks.

RE: Re: RE: Anyone else here worried about Philly????

Jeezus each week it's a new reason to be worried. We should expect to beat Philly, plain and simple.

Why is that?? Didn't we BEAT a better Philly with McNabb and a non-depleted Philly D???? Each week its a new flavor of the week that is supposedly the best team in the NFC and a major threat to us. I'm tired of it. We dominated the 4th quarter and kept them off the field for the final 8 min. That's the same defense out there right now. It's not like they got any better.

I think McNabb would have had this team in even better shape than Garcia does. They were the #1 offense in the league at the time we faced them if i'm not mistaken.

No Philly is not a threat in my eyes. I see Chicago or maybe Seattle as the only reason we don't get to the SB. Besides the fact that we already beat them. It's a cool story and I'm glad they made it in, but Payton has a great track record on team's he's faced the second time around. Not only have we beat all of them, but we've mauled them.

Doesn't the fact that we've already beat this team count for something? So they pick on teams that we've already beat. Only game they've won in convincing fashion was the Dallas game, and we won it in even more convincing fashion. Andy Reid has Parcells' number and always has. We're the better team and we as fans should expect us to win if we faced them.
