Raised in Ocean Springs, Ms., currently living in Knoxville, Tn. Been a Saint's fan as far back as I can remember. Still have friends living in and around New Orleans and I visit every chance I get. And just to let everyone know, my brother, a friend and I sang 'We Are The Champions' in a packed karoake bar on Bourbon Street the night before the Atlanta Monday night game. So I think the mojo has carried over all season long!!

Lived in Biloxi from about the time i joined this site till about 2 weeks ago, when i moved to Ocean Springs, Ms. Expecting our first kid in March, a boy. His name will be Peyton, and all my friends, knowing the DIE HARD SAINTS fan i am, swear i named him after CoachPayton. Who Dat!! Bet my friend that if the Saints win, he has to streak down HWy. 49 for a minute. I'd gladly bail him out to win that bet.

TheKillerBs 01-18-2007 08:17 PM

TheKillerBs!
The name comes from the combo of Brees and Bush, and also from my favorite baseball team, the Houston Astros, who had Biggio and Bagwell forever.

I'm a little new to posting here, but a longtime lurker.

I was born and raised in Hammond, LA. I moved to Pittsburgh for a while, the whole time sporting the fleur de lis. I moved back to Hammond for a few years, attended SLU (Slow-learners' University, represent!). I currently reside in Lexington, KY, and am still a huge Saints fan.

I have been a Saints fan since before I was born, as my mother has always been a big fan.

Anyways, here's hoping the Bears get b*tchslapped on Sunday!

kel180 01-19-2007 05:59 AM

Never lived in NO, but I get there everytime I can. From Dallas and when I realized I couldn't stand the Cowboy fans I decided to be a Saints fans. After several miserable years my friends tried to talk me out of it but I was hooked. I've been traveling to NO for home games for 16 years. Ironically, the only victories (3) I have witnessed were all againt the Cowboys. Once on my 30th b-day (best gift ever). There is nothing better than wearing black and gold around a bunch of cocky defeated Cowboy fans.(Saints have beat the Cowboys since 1993 in case you lost count :o)

I was in NO for Panther game and Philly playoff game. I still can't keep myself off eBay and Travelocity, just dreaming of a Chicago trip, but I willl most likely stay here. I will say, if there is another game I think we ALL need to watch it in NO. (Sorry, I can't be as confident as you guys... I can hardly say Superbowl without worrying I might jinx something...) NO will be a much bigger party than Miami!! See you all there!!

mighty12 01-19-2007 06:17 AM

Born and raised in the Laffy Taffy(LMAO) living in Monterey, CA right now. Saints fan since birth, and mad that my daughters are getting spoiled with good Saints football and 0 years of pain.

SaintFanInATLHELL 01-19-2007 06:29 AM

I'm in the ATL as my name points out.

I will be watching the game in person because I got my championship tickets.

Here's hoping to having to ask the question about where to drive to get the best SuperBowl experience.

BORN AND RAISED MAMOU LA.ALWAYS HERE GO SAINTTTTTTTTTTSSSSSSSSSSS

SaintPauly 01-19-2007 07:11 AM

Born in Meridian, MS, and grew up in Philadelphia, MS. My parents still live there. Became a Saints fan in 78-79, due to number 8. I actually live near a town called Williamsville, which is an old country store basically, where you can buy groceries, clothes, and cowboy boots, all in the same place. Now, what does this have to do with the Saints you are asking yourself.... Let me explain. Archie, married the daughter, of the owner of this store, whom he met at Ole Miss. I actually used to cut Archie's wife's mother's lawn every summer. How's that for a useless connection?

Saints fan all my life, and will be til the day I die. I live in the San Francisco area now, but lived in Sacramento for 10 years, Muscle Shoals, Alabama before that. I've used the name Saint Paul, on just about every forum I've ever been on. Saintpaul34, Saintpaul86, Saintpaul26, and now, Saintpaul25. I was actually on this forum a long time ago, but lost my online availability for a while. That was in 98-99. Wow, I would probably be a jedi master too by now.... Damn ex-wife.

zachsaints52 01-19-2007 01:00 PM

zachsaints52 here, I havent posted in awhile, I just come back here every week to see the updates and all you put. I am in southwest virginia, but we have one of the Top 10 theaters in the USA, and they show the playoff games in high definition on 40 foot screens for $5. Can't get much better, I can't wait until Sunday.

iceshack149 01-19-2007 08:23 PM

Born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska and would not let the local t.v. stations bully me into becoming a Seahawks fan. I still call the Fox station and beg for the best NFC games rather than Seattle vs. Arizona. Seattle is more than 2500 miles away!

Sorry 'bout that rant...

kuke 01-19-2007 09:57 PM

LIving in LA west coast, been a saints fan since I drafted Deuce #1 in my first ever fantasy football draft in '04. He hasn't let me down since then. So much heart, this team, its hard not to fall in love with the city, with the team and its loyal fans (who I'd be honored to be counted amongst)!! Geaux Saints!! :fanclub: :saintsfan: :fanclub:

UK_WhoDat 01-19-2007 10:16 PM

Lucky enough to be in the Dome when Morten kicked the game winning FG for the Saints against dem sheep to make the playoffs (Dec 1990).

Very excited, very nervous :?

jnormand 01-19-2007 10:17 PM

Living in the thriving metropolis of Rupert, Idaho. Born in Baton Rouge. Been a Saints fan for about 23 of my 28 years on this earth. I don't get to watch a lot of games here because of the Seahawks and Broncos, but it has been a great year. Quite a few games televised. If the Saints aren't on T.V., I watch the little helmets move on nfl.com while I get intoxicated and yell at the slow moving computer screen!

Euphoria 01-19-2007 10:18 PM

Euphoria here...

Born and raised in Houma, La. Moved away when joined the military up and down the East coast. I got out and moved my happy ass to Hollywood, Ca. Wore my jersey up and down Sunset Blvd all day today. Been a fan well being from Houma... since birth 39 years ago.

canucksaint 01-20-2007 09:43 AM

Looks like I’m the sole Canadian representative (although I know there are a couple lurkers out there).
From Toronto, Ontario (Canada), been a Saints fan for as long as I can remember. Used to see them when I went to visit my sister who was in Mobile, AL (pre-Katrina).
All of my in-laws are Quebecois (French-Canadian), and think that whenever I am wearing a Fleur-de-lis, I am supporting Quebec… hahaha… just wait till they learn English.. or watch something other than Hockey on TV.
This past year I was able to watch Ricky Williams play for the Toronto Argos (CFL). Oh well, at least I was able to get some use out of that old jersey.

Another oldie that drops by from time to time.

I was born and raised in Jackson, Ms. My oldest brother went to Ole Miss when Archie was there and we all became Saint's fans when they drafted him. I was a Saint's fan even before I knew anything about football. I have followed them since the Dick Nolan days and this year has been such a sweet surprise. I drive 18 wheelers and I'm currently up in Boston, so I'll be watching the game somewhere up here, amongst all the Brady fans.
