BucNup Returns !!!!!!!
After speaking to one of my inside sources, I have learned that BucNup has been spoted close to the area

BucNup Returns !!!!!!!
That\'s right ladies and gentlemen....
BillyC and BucNup have gotten together in their secret meeting place and have \"Aired out\" their dirty laundry. Sources close to the situation at hand credits the patch work, in part to a sound football discussion between the two men. References were made to a \"Cynical\" so-and-so that intiated the heated exchange of words; and it was decided that it was, as BucNup loves to put it; All Good.... Both side are prepared to bring new news and information regarding their respective teams as the season draws closer. And finally, as a show of good faith, BucNup will remove any references being associated to Billy; but vowed to his mom, that the RING stays..... Hello all. Its good to be back! BucNup Returns !!!!!!!
Now back to our coversation.
What makes you think that all the stars are going to line up for the Bucs this year and you will indeed defend the ring? Also, what have the Bucs done as far as improvements that is going to help ease the pain of the 2-losses we put on you guys last year>? In other words...............how in the hell are yall\' going to match up with all the horses we have on offense? [Edited on 18/6/2003 by BillyCarpenter1] |

Welcome back BucNup. Maybe we can dazzle you with brilliance this time. Good luck.

BucNup Returns !!!!!!!
Again as I\'ve mentioned before. Both of our games were great, hard hitting contest that basically were decided on a few plays in each game. Beating us 26 - 20 in the opener (huge Special Teams play) and again at your place 20 - 23 (Horn beat Kelly for the TD & Duece pounding the football). Notice, I said deciding blow. I know what Stallworth did as well, I cringed when you guys picked him up in the draft. I love him.
So basically, I just think the outcomes are going to be similar in the fact that it will be a close game. Maybe in one or both of those game, we will get a break. The only thing I think we need to do better is stop you guys on 3rd down conversions. In game 1 you went 50% success rate on 3rd down conversion. In game 2 you went 52% success rate on 3rd down conversions. 3rd down conversions = more time to get things going, more time to get things going = a tired defense and a tired defense = DUECE, DUECE, DUECE..... So, if we concentrate on being able to decrease that number alone, it\'s going to have a different flavor. I\'d offer the same bit of advice you offer me on my Super Bowl euphoria state of mind I\'m in.... Let it go. It\'s not about the stars being aligned. It\'s about the small things that ultimately win ball games. The way you are talking is exactly the way the Eagles were talking. Nothing is impossible and we all know that nothing happened after the 1st minute of play, in the championship game..... Essentially, they had every reason to believe; even to KNOW there was no way in us beating them, which is almost the way you are sounding. All I know is that its\' going to be a good game. Anything else is not keeping it real..... Homerism, if you will. [Edited on 18/6/2003 by BucNup] |

Beleive me when I tell you I haven\'t laid any cash down on the 2-games between us and the Bucs this year. What we did last year means absolutely nothing this year.
But, I\'m looking very foward to those 2-games this year. My fingernails have grown back since the last 2. We have added some new faces on offense this year, most notiably to the O-line-- With the addition of Wayne Gandy and an added year of experience for Le Charles Bentley, it should give the Saints a more dominate O-line than we had last year, which translates to Duece looking at a lot of wide open real estate this year. I think myself and everyone included noticed that our O-line pushed the Bucs defense off the line or scrimage pretty good last year, which exposed a Bucs secondary that never really got tested that much last year because they were able to stop everyone\'s (except our beloved Saints) ground game. How do you think Gruden is going to game plan against what I have been talking about? Also, how do you feel about the passing game of the Bucs this year and how much of a running game is going to be sufficent to keep the burden from falling square on the sholders of Brad Johnson? See there are intelligent beings here at B&G. Good question BillyC. I\'d like to hear BucNUp\'s take on that too.

This was credit to the opener. Brooks connected on 24/42 passes, for 240 yards, he threw for 2 touchdown passes in the game, while Duece ran for 109 yards. In watching that game; it appeared when we thought you were going to run you passed and vice versa. Teams are very difficult to defend under those circumstances. Your Saints worked things well; yet it took a Special Teams play to seal the victory. (26 - 20: Saints) In game two, Brooks numbers were considerably different as he connected on 9/25 passes, for 155 yards yet he still threw 2 touchdown passes. Duece ran for 99 yards in this one. So, we actually improved overall, but we came upon another Special Teams break down, this time from our own doing. We gave up a safety and Martin Gramatice missed a 42 yard field goal. Now, I\'m not big on kickers, but I believe if you send Gramatica out to attempt 10, 42 yard field goals, mabye he misses one? That one was against your Saints. What makes it hard to swallow, is the fact that you guys are not affected by the elements playing in a dome. So I guess he choked it off? It proved to be costly (20-23: Saints) All and all, I think we go in to the game with much of the same stuff that we\'ve done. Captialize on our scoring opportunties and hope for the best. But we can not allow Brooks and Co. to have the freedom they enjoyed on 9/8/02; ever again........ As for our running game, I don\'t know what to expect right now.... You\'ve got to respect my honesty, right? |

So, here\'s my honest take on the Bucs running back situation. I don\'t think Pittman was \" the man \"and while Jones might not be either, I think he will have no trouble putting up (Pittman) numbers with the potential of much more. The potential to do much more is what concerns me. [Edited on 19/6/2003 by BillyCarpenter1] |

From reading the banter between Billy and Bucnup it sounds as though yall believe, like I do, that the division will come down to either Tampa or New Orleans. What is the feelings on what Atlanta and Carolina will bring to the division??
|
BucNup Returns !!!!!!!
You guys may think this is a fluffy cop-out but I believe its a 4-way toss up for this division. I think 1st and last place will be separated by 2 wins.
1st place 11-5 4th place 9-7 [Edited on 19/6/2003 by tweeky] [Edited on 19/6/2003 by tweeky] |

I\'ve never seen 3-teams go to the playoffs from the same division......possible though. But that means the only games any of the teams could lose would be against each other.........not likely |

I think its happened quite a few times.
