We won't ever forget this season
 

Sure we lost and I'm disappointed but look what the Saints have done this year, we played in the NFC Championship, something most of us didn't think would be possible going into the season..(We made history this season)

I just didn't want it to end..........

Man this one hurts. I've seen a lot of my teams lose big games, but I don't think I've ever felt so sick after this one. I want to thank all of you guys that have come here and posted your comments and shown how much this franchise means to you. I really appreciate all of the work that the B&G staff have put into making this site the best New Orleans Saints fan site anywhere. I am happy that I've been able to find a place where I can discuss how much I love the Saints and not be laughed at. This one hurts, but Troy Aikman was right, after a few days, we'll be able to step back and say to ourselves "Nobody could have imagined us to get this far." This team accomplished a lot, and something that I am taking to heart is this: the Saints have a very bright future ahead of them. Deuce is still going to be here. Brees is locked up for 5 more years. Bush is signed for 5 more years (I think). Colston is on his rookie deal. We still got Will Smith, Fujita, Bullocks, and some other very important players. There will be a lot of work to do in this offseason, but with the draft and everything, and with Payton at the helm, I honestly believe that this team will be even better next year. We lost today, but this team gave a helluva effort this entire season and I know personally, brought some much appreciated happiness to my life.

i love this team and i love what they have done for us this year. i thank them for the ride. we will be back next year. i am looking at the draft at this point and um does anyone else think maybe we could go corner. possibly. please. i beg

Wow! As much as this game hurts (And boy does it hurt) I am so proud of my New Orleans Saints. They over came a lot this season and put forth the type of effort that I will remember and cherish for the rest of my life. Congratulations go out to Sean Payton, Drew Brees, Duece McAllister, Reggie Bush, Marques Colston, The J-Train, Mike Karney and the most underrated defense in the league. I can't wait to see what changes Coach makes that will take us even deeper next year. Great Job guys!

This years Saints were great to watch and I'm already excited about next year. It's extra frustrating right now because we went out on such a low note. It's one thing to play well and lose, it's another thing to come out and play one of the worst games of the season. spkb, I don't think there is any doubt that we will go after a free agent cb and/or use an early draft choice on a cb. Payton and the rest of the front office did a great job last year in the offseason and I expect that we will address our weaknesses and come next year we will be a better team
