Loomis said some turnover is inevitable. In a given year, a team might have 15 to 20 new players, "just in the course of ordinary business."

"It won't be exactly the same, but hopefully we can keep the momentum and keep our core group together and build off what we accomplished in 2006," said Loomis, who declined to discuss any individual players.

Lastly, the Saints are $29.9 million under the cap.

The Saints are in great shape with the cap room.

And a few linebackers, a good TE, and one more Colston in the late rounds!

If we have a draft half as good as last years we will be in good shape. Colston should make soem big bucks after this season.

I think we should have a great draft no matter what happens. There are some very talented players on this team and in the draft, as well as FA's
