Shawn King? Come on dude.

RE: Re: RE: How do we see our QB depth?
Hey, he's not that bad. He won't have a short pass all the time, and is mobile, and he has a much quicker with his release, no matter which O-line.

RE: Re: RE: How do we see our QB depth?
I was impressed with the way Stinch played this year, but then, I wasn't that high on him to begin with, so anything would have been an improvement. We still need depth along the line....

RE: Re: RE: How do we see our QB depth?
Getting back to Zabransky, he's got great speed and intangibles and a ton of guts - there's gotta be a spot for him in the NFL or at least the CFL. Lots of good 2nd day QB's in the draft - Zac Taylor from Nebraska might also be good down the road.

Huh? He "didn't do good"? How is that? Playing against arguably the number two pass rush in the NFL, the guy went 16 of 24. He threw one INT and one TD. The guy is a backup QB, I just really don't see what you expect us to do... go out and sign Donovan McNabb so he can come be our backup? We can't spend a lot of money on a backup QB (especially because Brees is getting $12 mil this season), so Martin not only played well, but is also a value. |
