Shannon Sharpe just reported that it's his left elbow not his wrist. The extent is still not known.

The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports QB Drew Brees (dislocated left elbow), who was injured in the Pro Bowl, is expected to be recovered well before the beginning of the 2007 season. Saints spokesman Greg Bensel said Brees' expected recuperation time will be six to eight weeks. X-rays were negative for fractures or ligament damage and Brees is scheduled to have an MRI in San Diego today.
